What can I expect during treatments?

During the procedure, most patients experience a quick tingling sensation, as if rubber bands are being snapped against the skin. Is there any downtime or side effects?

The RevLite laser is safe, although there is a possibility of mild flushing that should resolve after 30 minutes.* Redness of the skin lasting may occur for a few days with an intensive treatment.* Downtime is minimal; most patients can resume their daily routine immediately after the treatment.* For tattoo and pigment removal, scabbing might form but will resolve after several days.*

How many sessions of treatment do I need?

In order to determine the number of sessions, your provider at the Dermatology and Laser Centre will correctly diagnose the issue. Then we will devise a custom plan just for you. If RevLite is recommended treatment, anywhere from 2 to 6 appointments may be recommended.* Certain deep lesions require more than 6 sessions and treatments are repeated every 1 to 4 weeks.*
